Forum on Commercial Operations of Enhanced WESM Design
As we inch closer to the highly anticipated commercial launch of the Enhanced WESM Design and Operations (EWDO), the Independent Electricity Market Operator of the Philippines (IEMOP) urges the energy industry in participating in stakeholder engagement activities that are aimed to prepare and apprise the participants on the timeline and relevant reports.
The Department of Energy (DOE) has recently directed IEMOP to launch a forum to discuss the commencement of the Limited Live Dispatch Operations (LLDO) this month of May 2021. To prepare the participants for the conduct of the LLDO, IEMOP will be conducting a Forum on the Commercial Operations of the Enhanced WESM Design this month. The activity aims to inform the participants of the process involved in the LLDO, including the timeline of activities upon EWDO’s Go-Live Date.
