The Independent Electricity Market Operator of the Philippines (IEMOP), as the market operator of the Philippine Wholesale Electricity Spot Market (WESM), gives notice that Ecosystem Research and Development Bureau (ERDB) has notified IEMOP through its Direct Member counterparty, Therma Luzon, Inc. on 26 January 2022 that it shall cease its membership in the WESM as Indirect WESM Member – Directly Connected Customer Category .
IEMOP has confirmed the cessation of the Ecosystem Research and Development Bureau’s WESM membership to be effective on 11 March 2022. This notice is being issued pursuant to WESM Rules clause 2.6.3.
